I needed more space in my Fiat so I took the seats out...problem solved with the added plus of not having to pick anyone up at the airport.

i used to be an american and i don't want a bigger fiat. i want a gutted' caged' 500 with a subaru flat four stuffed in the back.

Dear Fiat,
if you're really going to make something bigger, scale the current 500 to Mini size and call it 600. No need to dilute the 500 brand even more.

I'm an american currently and that needs to be made! Well maybe not a Fiat but maybe a spiritual successor to the Lancia Delta S4 Stradale. But I'm a small minority in a sea of Nissan Muranos and Lexus RX's :/

Yeah it would be cool for them to bring something other then the 500 over. Though they might do a MINI and make 20 kinds of 500s in various shapes and sizes but all based off the looks of the 500.

Probably the lack of image or brand recognition or whatever keeps the mini and 500 fashionable. Since the release of the 500 here (UK) I've seen far less new pandas around.

I like the fiat just as it is and I'm 250lbs. the only thing I would change sizewize is a litle bit more elbow room(maybe 1.5" per side).
now if fiat wants constructive criticism offer telescoping steering and make the seats go lower.
but that's something I could fix with a steering wheel spacer and custom seat brackets.

If Sergio has any inkling how to run a car company, they won't enlarge the 500.

I wouldn't sweat it too much. The execs are also aware of the brand equity, and as the article mentions, a 5 door Fiesta-fighter is in the works for the US & EU. That's where they will likely go bigger, not the 500.
